As the discussion started, I find the subject a requisite because as of now, there’s a rapid boom on the modernization of technology. You will barely see people who doesn’t have gadget on their hands or in their pocket(s). Without knowing the computer ethics, you’ll get lost in the cyberspace. Before using any social media accounts, you should know the principles of online ethics and the netiquette.

Many of the social media users don’t have any idea about the danger that it may cause. An example of this is the flaming of online wars and the ad hominem. Because of the lack of knowledge, people post what they want to post and people state what they want to say. They tend to think of “it’s my account, I can do whatever that pleasures me”, which is bad and dangerous. You can’t post all that you feel, see and experience because you’ll instantaneously lose privacy. One of the current issues online is the fake news. Most of the people online are gullible because they often fail to see the credibility of article/status.

I realized that knowing these things will lead you to a better and proper usage of social media applications. Finally, I appreciated ICT’s essentiality.
